Dear illustrious readers,
I know I have skipped day 3,4,5,6 and so on of my internship. I really thought I would have time each day to write down everything I did that day, but I didn’t. 🙂
I was trying to make my way in the tube somehow, trying to grab something to eat after long hours of work, and grasp the most of London as I could.
These are the two last days of my internship at a large fashion house in London.
I learned a lot, I struggled, the long hours standing and moving around, without time to take a break have taken a toll, the pain in my legs made me cry in the evenings when I got home. I stood out of the 12 interns who came there all with different purposes. I learned so much about myself going through this experience. And the learnings I will write in a different post. It really opened my eyes, it made me see things here in London these two weeks, that at home I knew I had to see, but just didn’t have the courage to.
It was hard. Damn hard. I know it looks so easy and effortless in pictures. But it’s been a hard tiring road, however, that I hope will open the road into the “big dogs” league, the highest fashion league.
But I loved every piece of it. I am a new person because of this, and I have everything to be thankful for.
Our life, if not made to make us happy, and pursue what we desire, what is it for then? 🙂
With lots of love from London,
p.s: I leave you with a quote that captures the essence of what I learned here:
The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease for ever to be able to do it. ― J.M. Barrie,
