Earlier this year, in January we took part in the Nordic Bloggers Experience in Finland.
We had a lovely 8 days exploring Finland and the Aland Islands, and we had the pleasure of staying in beautiful boutique hotels. In Helsinki we stayed at Scandic Paasi, who also hosted the reception for us. It was a warm welcome to all of us, in the lounge of the hotel overlooking the main square, while outside it was snowing.
Located in the heart of Helsinki, Scandic Paasi is a historic hotel, as it is situated on the spot of a circus in the late 1800s. The hotel’s interior design is a combination between old & new, and black&white scenes from an era of wonder.
The hosts in charge of welcoming us to Scandic Paasi told us that each room tells its own story, and the rooms breathe the atmosphere of the 1920s, 1950s and 2010s.
We stayed there for a couple of days and we were lucky again to have a beautiful view of the city center, covered in snow.
We will definitely be back in this hotel if we ever visit Helsinki again! <3
