What to pack for Bali: top 5 items

Sooo your holiday with your loved one is fast approaching, you’ve chosen an amazing destination!
What’s next? Well, filling up your bags with stuff you will for sure need and well..other unnecessary stuff such as more and more and more outfits.

1. Sunscreen

Needless to say, Bali has a tropical climate, and during the day it’s very hot. So I strongly recommend taking sunscreen with you and reapplying it after swimmming. I used the Bioderma, as my skin is very sensitive and this is for. Remember, your skin needs care and attention and protecting it from the sun is a must if you want to keep it healthy.

2. Cotton clothing

With such a humid climate, you’ll find that strolling on the streets of Bali in midday can turn out to be quite a challenge. But if you wear cotton clothing, your skin will be able to breathe, you’ll feel better and your body will say thank you.

3. Sunglasses and hat

It’s advisable to wear sunglasses and a hat, if you don’t want to suffer from a sun stroke. That might then affect the next days of your holiday and you want to make the most of this corner of heaven!

4. Body lotion

Getting a tan is great, but your skin might get dry, so I recommend having body lotion or coconut oil. You can buy handmade coconut oil directly from the locals! Make sure your skin stays hydrated all the time!

5. Instagrammable swimwear

Take it from a fashion blogger who knows, if you want to enrich your Instagram profile, taking a couple of swimwear with you will prove useful 😉 Ask your hubby to take some pics of you while relaxing on an infinity pool or simply at the beach, chilling on a sunbed.

Honestly, since Qatar offered me 30 kgs..I took well, 28kg. Wish I hadn’t though because it was so hard to carry around and in the end, my luggage broke! So just take light clothes, shorts, swimwear, some dresses, all the rest you’ll find in Bali, the place to be!
